Founded in 2003, Spiritual Essence Yoga & Wellness has been supporting people in creating healthier, more balanced lives through yoga, meditation, and the healing arts. We believe these practices can help people feel more connected, grounded, and supported in their daily lives. We are honored to serve our community and strive to create a welcoming space where people feel seen, supported, and cared for.

At SEY, we're looking for team members who genuinely enjoy supporting others, take pride in their work, and want to contribute to a positive experience for every person who walks through our doors. If you're organized, proactive, compassionate, and excited about helping others live inspired, fearless, empowered lives, we would love to hear from you. We are currently seeking a Yogi Support Team Lead.

Yogi Support Team Lead

The Yogi Support Team Lead serves as the lead point person for studio operations and client experience during assigned shifts. This person works alongside the Yogi Support Team and helps guide the flow of the shift without formally supervising other team members.

This role is ideal for someone who notices what needs to be done, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping both clients and team members feel supported. The person in this role helps keep the studio running smoothly while continuing to provide warm, attentive client care.

The person selected must also be willing to become an active part of SEY as both an employee and student. This includes attending at least four SEY classes each month, building relationships with our team and clients, and becoming familiar with the experience we provide from both sides of the front desk.

Before You Apply

SEY is a peaceful and supportive environment, but the work behind the front desk is active and requires focus. During a shift, you may be assisting clients, supporting instructors, monitoring in-studio and online classes, managing multiple systems, responding to questions, completing detailed tasks, and helping the studio stay on track.

We are looking for someone who can remain calm when things get busy, work independently, follow through on responsibilities, and communicate openly when support is needed. The person selected must also be comfortable receiving feedback, sharing concerns honestly, and communicating when something feels out of alignment.

Training for this position includes scheduled paid training, independent study completed during compensated training time, and continued learning while working in the role. Applicants must be prepared to use training time well, meet onboarding deadlines, and take responsibility for learning the systems and processes required for the position.

We are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term opportunity and has the capacity to commit to the role for at least one year. Before applying, please consider whether your current schedule and responsibilities leave enough space for you to consistently meet the work schedule, complete training, support occasional additional shifts, and remain fully engaged in the role.
