Graduate Testimonials

“Studying yoga has continued to shift my level of consciousness towards a higher power…most importantly, building a relationship with God! After my 200-hour yoga teacher training at Spiritual Essence Yoga, I adopted a morning ritual of reading and meditating prior to beginning my day. I am so thankful to Dana for sharing her passion for yoga as it has helped to shape my practice today. I am extremely grateful for the kindness, compassion, dedication, and knowledge of yoga principles and practices that I learned. Dana is truly a gem!” ~ V. Coles

“SEY offered a well rounded training program that prepared me for a career as a yoga teacher. Dana was a wealth of knowledge and it was obvious that she taught from the heart.” ~ Abena E.

“I’ve had two teacher trainings at SEY and I continue to go back for more. There is no place I’d rather be in my practice and my study than SEY. As a black-owned yoga studio, it presents a different image of yoga than what we see on yoga journal. Yoga comes in all shapes, sizes & gender. SEY training is intensive, personal & thorough.” ~ Tamisha P.

“I had a wonderful experience at SEY. I learned so much about yoga and myself. I highly recommend SEY for yoga teacher training.” ~ Cassandra L.
