Level 1 Thai Yoga Massage Certification

IMG_4064Thai Yoga Massage (Thai Massage, Nuad Pan Boran) is an ancient form of therapeutic healing. Born in the temples of Thailand, it has been around for over 2,500 years. It combines acupressure, energy/meridian balancing, stretching, and gentle yoga asanas (postures) in order to align the energies of the body for optimal health and wellness.

Thai Yoga Massage is based on a yoga tradition that vital energy (prana) flows through a series of channels in the human energy body. It is believed that stress and disease are caused by blockages in that energy flow and the aim of the bodywork is to release those blockages, restore equilibrium and harmony, and promote a return to good health.

Thai Yoga Massage Training FAQs and Policies

Do I have to have a background in yoga or massage to take this course?

There is no prior experience needed.  Students of all backgrounds are welcome to join.

Will I be certified to practice in my state after completing all training requirements?

Currently there is no government recognized board that “certifies” for Thai-based bodywork therapies regulated by the US, but all participants who complete the requirements for our Thai Yoga Massage Programs will earn a “Certificate of Completion” that is recognized by NCBTMB and Yoga Alliance for CE hours.  Since Thai Yoga Bodywork or Thai Massage isn’t regulated by any overseeing body, you will have to check with your state and/or city to see what the laws are for people practicing bodywork on paying customers.
