Meditative
Movements: In this
“in-spiring” class students will learn how
to put meditation in motion. Meditation
allows one to come back to the center and
realign with what is important to all of our
individual lives. In this class students
will explore the gentler side of yoga asana,
how to use props to support practice and
breathing techniques. Classes will also have
a monthly theme designed to support students
both on and off the mat. |
|
|
|
Essence Flow 1:
Introduces yoga postures and principles designed to build strength, flexibility,
openness, and awareness into the body. It also gives an overview of the flow

students many options in the development of a personal practice. |
|
|
|
Essence Flow 1/2: Is
designed for Flow 1 students who are ready for a deeper challenge and want to
ease into Essence Flow 2. Students are taught intermediate variations on yoga
postures learned in Flow 1 and are encouraged to take their practice to the next
level. |
|
|
|
Essence Flow 2:
Builds on previous yoga experience with an emphasis on helping the student
develop stamina, strength, and a personal practice. The class refines the
student's understanding of fundamental yoga principles and further explores the
flow method as well as advanced standing postures. |
|

stresses of a hectic life. We'll explore gentle flows and focus on the breath

“Before finding Dana and SEY I was curious about
yoga but not committed to furthering my knowledge of
what was entailed, what could be gained. Spiritual
Essence Yoga has opened my eyes to creating and
maintaining mind/body/spirit health. From emotional
to physical, the power of yoga has been shown to me
and I believe the experience at SEY plays a large
role in the benefits I have derived from practicing
yoga there. From the teachers to the students, it
feels like a family, everyone willing to help
everyone else, offering advice and tips and support.
I have visited other studios, gone to other classes.
I have yet to find (and am definitely not seeking
a replacement for) another that gives me the solidly
rejuvenating feeling I have after an SEY visit. I
feel centered, complete, able. When I feel the worst
-- finances, family, relationships, work all taking
their toll -- a yoga class at SEY always gives me
new perspective. Perhaps it is because I leave
feeling that I have been enhanced not only
physically, but spiritually and mentally; there is a
connection and healing. I look forward to years of
the same with SEY as it (undoubtedly) grows.” ~
